Vendors Statement

Before we moved to Wendover, we were renting in Watford. We wanted to be close to London but we needed greenery, fresh air, and open space. We looked down the train line and found Wendover. After a quick visit to the town centre and the woods, we knew we found the location. Our first house viewing was on the PMG estate. We walked out of the house on Cruickshank Drive and a deer hopped past us. We walked back to the town centre for a coffee and cake at Rumseys, before taking the train to London. We knew we found the exact place we were supposed to be.

Here is what we love about the estate:

- The woods as our ‘extended garden’ - one day when it snowed heavily a couple of years ago, no cars could get on the road and people from our estate got to enjoy the woods completely undisturbed

- The community feel. We didn’t know anyone when we arrived, now we do! During Christmas, the estate do things like Christmas advent calendar windows where each day is a new surprise window to find from a resident. Same for Halloween - the neighbourhood goes all out!

- The two playgrounds and basketball court nearby

- Walking distance to primary schools and nurseries

- The light that floods in our kitchen is beautiful, from sunny days to lightening storms

- The living room is cosy & stays cool in the summer

- It’s walking distance to the town centre. Our 2&5 year olds make the walk just fine

- The local premier shop for convenience - incredibly friendly staff

- There’s a post office just down the bottom of the estate - again for convenience

The list goes on!
